Upstart Nations is a country simulation from Upstart Simworks. Run a real country with fictional people in weekly turns. The world reacts, and the wire reports it.
Pick from 216 countries, filtered by region, size, challenge and mode, including War and Survival. Choose a difficulty from Recruit to Brutal, and a governing style: Democratic, Hybrid or Authoritarian.
A guided game walks you through one system at a time, or you start a new game. The daily uses the same seed for everyone. The full game is $19.95.

Before you start
Where are my saves?
Save slots stay on this device, and autosave keeps running. You can export or import a backup of all saves, slots and settings. A cloud-sync control is on that same panel when the game can reach it.
Is there multiplayer?
No multiplayer mode is on the title screen. The daily gives everyone the same seed.
What is the refund policy?
Email hello@upstartsim.com within 14 days of buying for a full refund. It goes back to the card you paid with. The same 14-day policy is on the refund page.
Do I need an account?
The title screen has no sign-in. Play continues from the save on this device, and you can keep a backup file.
